👥 Members & invites

Evere works with people who have the app and people who don’t. There are two ways to add participants.

Adding a participant by name

The simplest way is to add a participant by name. Enter a name when creating the project, or from “Manage participants” in project settings.

  • You can add someone even if they don’t have the app.
  • Added participants can be selected when splitting an expense.
  • Share the result with them via a settlement report.

Not everyone needs to install the app. Whether it’s a couple or a friend who doesn’t use the app, this approach gets the job done.

If the other person also uses Evere, you can invite them to the project with an invite link. Invited members share the same project in real time on their own device.

  • Create an invite link from the project details and share it as a link or QR code.
  • Invite links can be disabled, and may also expire.

Which should I use?

  • The other person doesn’t use the app, or you want it quick → add by name
  • The other person wants to log and check in real time too → invite link

You can also mix both within a single project.
